What you will do- Operational Leadership: Lead Area Construction Managers and Field Managers to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to Vanir quality standards while optimizing labor, materials, equipment, and crew productivity.
- Safety Management: Champion and enforce Vanir safety policies and OSHA requirements through jobsite audits, safety meetings, incident investigations, corrective actions, and proper safety equipment management.
- Performance Management: Supervise, coach, and develop field leadership through performance evaluations, ongoing feedback, training, succession planning, and appropriate corrective action.
- Financial Performance: Monitor job profitability, labor and material costs, operational expenses, job costing, and production reporting while identifying opportunities to reduce waste and improve margins.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain installation and craftsmanship standards through quality-control inspections, punch-list resolution, manufacturer and warranty compliance, and strong relationships with customers, trade partners, and suppliers.
What We Are Looking ForRequired:- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in construction management, business, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum seven to ten (7-10) years of experience in exterior construction / siding installation.
- At least five (5) years of progressive leadership experience managing multiple crews or projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing 15+ direct and indirect reports.
- Strong knowledge of exterior cladding systems, installation methods, building codes, and OSHA construction safety requirements.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, specifications, and installation diagrams.
- Proficient with Vanir systems, Google Suite, construction management software, project scheduling, and resource planning tools.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, organization, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive operational improvements.
Preferred:- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification.
- Previous experience in residential construction or an installed-sales environment.
- Knowledge of lean construction principles and continuous-improvement methodologies.
- Experience with vinyl, fiber cement, and other exterior cladding products.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills.
