BIM Coordinator

Oakland/San Diego

Regular, Full time

Hybrid

We are seeking a highly motivated BIM Coordinator to join our team in Oakland. You will work closely with a team of experts working alongside our customers on some of North America's most significant projects.

Your key responsibilities will be:
  • Use engineering knowledge, experience and understanding to apply technical and practical engineering coordination skills in a BIM environment
  • Deliver project BIM models, coordinate with project partners, and ensure project standards are maintained on all deliverables
  • Coordinate BIM information across disciplines and elements of the project. Resolve complex technical modelling and drafting issues
  • Mentor other members of the team in their development along with authoring models and providing modelling guidance to other members of the BIM team
  • Monitor and guide BIM process using Navisworks, BIM 360, Trimble connect, and others as required
  • Liaise with the project team and consultants to review BIM models for the project and make necessary amendments

  • 5 plus years of experience using Navisworks, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and other Autodesk package and producing Clash Reports
  • Advanced 3D CAD/BIM modelling experience, particularly in the design of civil engineering, infrastructure, or rail projects
  • Experience with implementing BIM Protocol and Execution Plan for a given project
  • Collaborate effectively within your team, communicate with clarity, demonstrate initiative, maintain organization, and ensure delivery of commitments

Base compensation: $67,200 to $105,600 for Oakland location only. Actual compensation is subject to variations due to education, experience, skill set and/or location.
