What You'll DoAs a Baylor Weekend Nurse at Lawrenceville Health & Rehabilitation, you'll play an essential role in providing high-quality, compassionate nursing care to our residents.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with individualized resident care plans and established nursing standards.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to physician orders and facility policies.
- Assess or monitor resident conditions within your scope of practice and promptly communicate changes to the appropriate clinical team members.
- Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Respond appropriately to resident needs, changes in condition, and emergencies.
- Promote a positive, respectful, and resident-centered care environment.
- Work collaboratively with nursing leadership to maintain exceptional standards of care.
What We're Looking For- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Virginia required.
- Current CPR/BLS certification as required.
- Previous experience in Long-Term Care (LTC), Skilled Nursing (SNF), rehabilitation, or post-acute care preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Dependability and commitment to the weekend Baylor schedule.
- Ability to work the 7:00 AM-11:00 PM shift.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative nursing environment.
- Compassionate, resident-focused approach to nursing care.
