  • Maintain RSO custody and update operational databases; validate data against multiple approved sources.
  • Produce routine reports and briefings, and provide ad hoc updates for ongoing events; coordinate content review as required.
  • Conduct initial event characterization (timeline, pattern-of-life observations, confidence factors) and recommend next steps for senior decision.
  • Support course of action (COA) development by compiling constraints, impacts, and response options for senior operators.
  • Execute procedures in response to checklist entry criteria with supervision; document actions, outcomes, and rationale.
  • Support testing and integration of developing software capabilities as an operational end user; submit trouble reports and improvement recommendations.
  • Support real-world and exercise-driven planning efforts; maintain readiness through recurring training and certification events.

Required Qualifications:
  • Education & Experience: Master's degree and 1 year of relevant experience with demonstrated expertise OR Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience with demonstrated expertise OR no degree and 4 years of relevant experience with demonstrated expertise.

  • Experience using operational monitoring, analytics, or mission systems to track events and produce time-sensitive reporting.
  • Experience supporting 24/7 operations (watch floor, operations center, or comparable environment) and following documented procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience with STK or other SDA/astrodynamics systems (e.g., ASW, ATLAS, SPADOC, or developing I&W tools).
  • Experience working with Intelligence Community organizations or joint mission partners supporting space operations.
  • Applied understanding of orbital mechanics, space surveillance, and counterspace threat concepts.
