Full Job Description
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Minimum of three years of experience in laboratory or engineering
  • Practical proficiency in common laboratory tools and instruments
  • Experience in configuring, maintaining, and overseeing tests according to established test procedures
  • Competence in collecting, analyzing, and visualizing test data
  • Knowledge of lithium-ion batteries
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, attention to detail
  • Legal eligibility to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Familiarity with AVL PUMA or similar battery test systems
  • Experience with CAN tools, such as Vector CANalyzer
  • Proficiency in calibration and analysis tools, like ETAS-INCA
  • Experience with EV battery pack diagnosis, root cause analysis, and teardown
  • Proficiency in data processing using MATLAB or Python
  • Experience with DVP&R (Design Verification Plan & Report) test plan execution
  • Prior experience or knowledge of ISO 17025 or 9001 accreditation
