Job Description:General Statement of Duties:Serve as the Project Coordinator for the Banner SaaS Modernization project. Also serve as advisor to Executive Sponsor(s) and Steering Committee in the redesign of processes and policies and implementation of Banner SaaS. Serve as a thought partner to evaluate legacy processes and promote adoption of SaaS best practices in effort to eliminate existing customization and work-arounds. Provide support, coaching, and guidance to staff in documenting current workflow processes, the redesign of process and policies, and implementation of Banner SaaS to maximize features of Banner SaaS.
We are seeking an individual with Ellucian Banner experience ideally with Commonwealth and public higher education experience and with broad experience across functional areas within higher education. Someone that is detail-oriented and organized to assist in guiding and oversee the Banner Modernization. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the project is completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Responsibilities:- Process Improvement
- Assist VPFA in leading business process transformation efforts.
- Provide guidance in development of new processes and policies to ensure compliance with standards and best practices.
- Project Management:
- Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and milestones.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope.
- Schedule and facilitate project meetings, including preparing agendas and documenting minutes.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk logs.
- Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and accessible to team members.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications.
- Liaise between Executive Sponsor(s), Steering Committee, and technical/functional work groups to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Liaise between functional offices and technical/functional teams regarding data quality issues, SasS integrations, workflow automation, and reporting.
- Prepare and present project progress reports to senior management.
- Assist VPFA in providing regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues.
Requirements:Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree.
- At least 5+ years of progressively increasing experience with Banner
- Experience leading implementation teams and managing process improvement teams.
- Exceptional communication and team-building skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Information:Salary: $135,000.00 - $145,000.00Employee Status: Full Time
