Bankruptcy Attorney - Creditor Side Litigation

If you've spent years handling creditor-side bankruptcy litigation and you're ready for work where your courtroom experience actually matters, this is the kind of opportunity worth looking at.
You'll handle Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 matters, contested proceedings, adversary litigation, hearings, discovery, and complex commercial disputes. You'll have direct relationships with clients and access to partners from day one, while working on matters that are genuinely contested and consequential.
This is a role for an attorney who can walk into court, argue a motion, write a strong brief, manage a complicated docket, and make sound litigation decisions without needing constant direction.
What you'll do:
• Represent creditors in Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and related bankruptcy proceedings
• Handle adversary proceedings and contested matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and bankruptcy court filings
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and court proceedings
• Manage discovery and all phases of litigation
• Communicate directly with clients, trustees, opposing counsel, and the Court
• Work with partners and attorneys on complex commercial litigation matters
What you'll need:
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active Georgia Bar membership in good standing
• 5+ years of creditor-side bankruptcy litigation experience
• Demonstrated courtroom and adversary proceeding experience
• Northern District of Georgia Bankruptcy Court experience strongly preferred
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage a complex docket with minimal supervision
