JOB DESCRIPTION

The Banking and Wealth Management team for Consumer and Community Banking is looking for a Deposits Analytics Vice President to drive end-to-end deposits reporting analytics and data modernization for Banking and Wealth Management, Consumer Bank deposit reporting to ensure executive-ready insights across regulatory & SEC management reporting.

As a Vice President within Banking and Wealth Management Controllers, Data & Analytics team, you will own key deposits reporting and analytics deliverables end-to-end and help drive modernization efforts that integrate new platforms/infrastructure into the ledger and downstream finance and reporting ecosystems. You will operate in a controlled environment (SOX/audit/regulatory expectations) and influence stakeholders through strong data storytelling, issue escalation, and delivery execution. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Own sourcing, compilation, validation, and distribution of financial data for complex quarterly/annual reporting, including deposits-related regulatory/SEC deliverables and management materials.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment across product owners, technology, LOB deposit controllers, SEC Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, firmwide reporting, and finance teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Lead strategic initiatives to automate/enhance reporting infrastructure; assess processes and implement scalable solutions and controls.
  • Partner on new product and platform initiatives by coordinating finance infrastructure changes, readiness, and control integration (including testing data solutions against submissions/manual processes).
  • Provide project management discipline (timelines/milestones) and escalate issues constructively with concise, executive-ready communications.
  • Deliver across recurring reporting, analytics, controls/documentation, and modernization/change initiatives in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management Information Systems
  • 6+ yearsin Accounting/Finance, reporting, analytics, controllership, or related roles with demonstrated end-to-end ownership of deliverables (monthly/quarterly cycles)
  • Advanced Excel; strong proficiency in SAP and Hyperion Essbase and/or Dodeca for data sourcing, reconciliation, and reporting workflows
  • Experience with SAS, SQL, Tableau, and/or Alteryx (or similar analytics/automation tooling)
  • Track record of contributing to automation, data quality, or modernization initiatives within finance/controllership technology stacks
  • Proven analytical/problem-solving skills with the ability to distill complex data into concise, executive-ready insights and narratives
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills across product, technology, finance, policy, risk, and control partners
  • Strong finance/controller fundamentals, hands-on data fluency
  • Strong organization/multitasking skills; ability to manage critical deadlines and periodic off-hours work as needed

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Public accounting experience and/or experience operating in a controlled reporting/audit environment
  • JIRA experience and comfort partnering with technology teams on requirements, testing, release milestones, and delivery governance
  • Exposure to deposits regulatory reporting processes/controls and balance sheet/income statement reporting in a large financial institution
