The Opportunity

As a Banking & Capital Markets Tax Senior Manager, you will provide strategic advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy within our Tax practice. You will help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimize their tax positions, confirming compliance with tax laws and regulations. As a Senior Manager, you will leverage your skills and network to deliver quality results, motivating and coaching teams to solve complex problems. You will apply sound judgment, recognizing when to take action and when to escalate, while developing and sustaining high-performing, diverse, and inclusive teams.

In this role, you will review and analyze financial data, prepare and file tax returns, and assist businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimizing risks of non-compliance. You will craft and convey clear, impactful messages that tell a holistic story, applying systems thinking to identify underlying problems and opportunities. Your ability to validate outcomes with clients, share alternative perspectives, and act on client feedback will be crucial. By directing teams through complexity and demonstrating composure in challenging situations, you will contribute to the overall success of our firm.

Responsibilities

- Leading tax compliance projects for banking and capital markets clients, confirming adherence to regulatory requirements
- Analyzing financial data to prepare and file accurate tax returns, minimizing risks of non-compliance
- Developing and implementing tax strategies to optimize client tax positions
- Coaching and mentoring teams to enhance their skills in tax planning and compliance
- Collaborating with clients to validate outcomes and incorporate feedback into tax solutions
- Applying systems thinking to identify underlying tax-related challenges and opportunities
- Drafting and reviewing tax documents to support client compliance and planning efforts
- Monitoring and analyzing financial trends to provide strategic tax advice
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients to address their tax needs effectively
- Promoting inclusion and diversity within teams to foster a collaborative work environment

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 6 years of experience
- At least one of the following: Certified Public Accountant, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity

Job Posting End Date

The salary range for this position is: $124,000 - $335,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
