Full Job Description
About the Role
We're hiring our Banking and Financial Institutions Lead: the person who brings OUSD to banks, asset managers, exchanges and the rest of traditional finance.
This is a sales role, and a long-term bet. Our model should change how dollars move through the financial system, and that change runs through institutions that move carefully. You'll plug OUSD into flows that either don't exist yet or that we're replacing, which means long, education-heavy cycles with many counterparties at the table.
You'll own a large surface area of banks and capital markets firms, mostly on your own from day one. That means daily meetings with institutions, learning fast what works and what doesn't, and seeing complex deals through to signature.
What You'll Do
Own OS's relationships with banks, asset managers, exchanges, and capital markets players.
Build and run a pipeline of institutional deals from first meeting to signed agreement.
Represent Open Standard with senior leaders at large financial institutions.
Map every deal's counterparties (business sponsors, risk, compliance, legal, treasury, operations, technology) and get each of them to yes.
Shape use cases with partners, such as stablecoin settlement, collateral, and treasury flows, and turn them into a clear value proposition.
Educate institutions on stablecoins and OUSD, and turn their objections into product and policy feedback for the team.
Work closely with our capital markets, partnerships, policy, and product teams.
Help define how we sell to TradFi as the team grows.
Who You Are
7 to 15 years selling to banks and other financial institutions, with a track record of closing large, complex deals.
You know how banks buy: who signs, who can block, how risk and compliance reviews work, and how long it really takes.
Fluent in institutional and trading-focused clients, and in the language of Wall Street and TradFi.
A strong network across banks and capital markets, and the credibility to get a meeting with senior decision makers.
Experience with stablecoins, digital assets, or payments infrastructure.
Polished in the room, scrappy outside it. You drive deals forward even when the other side moves slowly.
Comfortable working with a high degree of independence and no existing playbook.
Low ego, high ownership, and direct.
Already using AI tools in how you research, prepare, and sell.
Nice to Have
Experience at a stablecoin issuer, digital asset custodian, or crypto infrastructure company selling to banks.
Time inside a bank or broker-dealer, in addition to selling to them.
Knowledge of settlement, collateral, and market structure at exchanges and clearinghouses.
Familiarity with the US regulatory landscape for stablecoins and bank activities.
