What You'll Do:As a Backend Engineer, you will play a central role in building and maintaining the critical backend infrastructure that powers our products. In this position, you will:
- Contribute to designing scalable architectures that support new product features and business requirements.
- Drive the development, deployment, and optimization of backend services, ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate third-party platforms, APIs, and emerging AI technologies.
- Lead technical discussions, offering best practices, mentorship, and guidance to team members.
- Take an active part in the continuous improvement of our engineering standards and development processes.
- Proactively identify and resolve complex technical challenges to ensure stable, secure operations.
What You'll Bring:- +1 years of professional experience in backend development, with a track record of delivering reliable and scalable systems.
- Advanced proficiency in server-side programming and experience designing database-driven applications.
- Strong grasp of API development, systems integration, and best practices in software engineering.
- Experience building and maintaining environments that scale to serve real users in production.
- An independent and proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to drive projects forward.
- Based in San Francisco or able to be here full-time. We're not offering visa sponsorship at this time.
