Role OverviewYou will be responsible for designing and building the management layer for a distributed embedded system. This includes designing the policy structure, configuration storage and reliability, secret management, and engines that enable these capabilities. This will allow you to build a performant and robust system from the ground up, having a direct impact on the success of the product line.
Required Experience- 5+ years of experience as a backend or full-stack engineer
- Strong proficiency in a subset of modern backend programming languages (Go, Python, Node.js, Rust, etc.)
- Deep understanding of database technologies, their performance characteristics, and use cases
- Proven experience designing, building, and securing modern RESTful or gRPC-based APIs for highly available systems
- Experience with Policy Engines and policy-as-code frameworks
- Strong understanding of security and secret storage technologies
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Frontend experience is a plus
- Experience with modern cloud providers and DevOps experience is a plus
- IoT and Embedded system experience is a nice-to-have
We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support our employees' health, well-being, and long-term success. The expected salary range for this position is $150,000 - $250,000 per year. Within this range, individual pay is determined based on job-related factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
