Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Backend .NET Developer with strong experience in Microsoft Azure integration services to design, develop, and maintain scalable, cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in .NET technologies, hands-on experience implementing integrations using Azure services, APIs, and messaging systems, and the ability to leverage AI-assisted development tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable backend applications using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, MVC.NET, and Web API.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools, including GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and AI-enabled IDEs, to accelerate development, refactoring, debugging, unit-test generation, code reviews, and technical documentation.
• Apply prompt engineering techniques to create effective prompts for code generation, debugging, test creation, documentation, code analysis, and developer productivity workflows.
• Design, develop, and manage integrations using Azure Integration Services, including Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, and API Management.
• Build and maintain secure, scalable integrations between cloud-based and on-premises systems.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs using JSON and microservices architecture.
• Design, implement, and maintain event-driven systems and messaging solutions using Azure Service Bus and Kafka.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, database structures, and data-handling processes using SQL Server and Entity Framework.
• Perform application testing, debugging, monitoring, and troubleshooting using application logs, Application Insights, and related tools.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and collaborative development activities.
• Work independently and collaboratively with team members to deliver reliable software solutions.
Required Qualifications
• 7-8+ years of experience in .NET development.
• Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, MVC.NET, and Web API.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and integrations.
• Experience with Azure Service Bus is required.
• Strong SQL Server skills, including database design and query optimization.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and AI-enabled IDEs to improve software development productivity.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
• Candidates must be local and willing to work in a hybrid model.
Preferred Qualifications
• Hands-on experience with Kafka is highly preferred and will be an advantage.
• Experience with Azure Integration Services, including Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and API Management.
• Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools and templates, including ARM templates and Terraform.
• Experience with TypeScript, jQuery, and frontend integration.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques for code generation, debugging, testing, documentation, and code analysis.
Certifications
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect.
