AzureSecurity Specialist and play a key role in safeguarding federal cloud environments. You will use
Microsoft Sentinel and
Azure Monitoring to detect, investigate, and mitigate security threats. With a focus on
KQL and advanced threat detection, you will help protect sensitive government data and infrastructure. This role offers you the chance to develop your expertise while working on federal security initiatives that require a high level of compliance and protection.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize Microsoft Sentinel to monitor, detect, and investigate potential security threats across the environment.
- Use Azure Monitoring tools to maintain oversight of security health and threat landscape in the cloud.
- Investigate and analyze security threats and incidents, helping to detect and mitigate risks effectively.
- Write and manage queries to generate reports, monitor logs, and identify vulnerabilities or suspicious activities.
Required Skills- Proficiency with Microsoft Sentinel for threat detection and monitoring.
- Strong understanding of Azure Monitoring for real-time insights into system performance and security.
- Ability to conduct Threat Detection and Investigation, identifying risks and initiating appropriate responses.
- Strong querying skills to craft custom queries for monitoring, reporting, and analysis.
Desired Skills- Familiarity with advanced Security features and techniques for further securing Microsoft environments.
