Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Tech Lead with strong expertise in AWS cloud services, Java, Node.js, and Python to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud-based solutions. The role combines cloud architecture, application development, technical leadership, performance optimization, security, and infrastructure automation. The ideal candidate will lead development initiatives, mentor engineering teams, ensure cloud solutions meet security and performance requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and cost-effective applications.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures using AWS services.
• Lead the development of cloud-native applications using Java, Node.js, and Python.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to development and operations teams.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud applications and infrastructure to ensure performance, reliability, and availability.
• Implement cloud security best practices and ensure compliance with applicable industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AWS cloud services with existing systems and applications.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Support containerized application development and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement and maintain DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
• Maintain technical documentation covering cloud architecture, operational processes, and engineering best practices.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of IT experience, including at least 5 years of experience in cloud computing and software development.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
• Proficiency in Java, Node.js, and Python.
• Experience designing and implementing cloud-native applications and solutions.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, performance optimization, and infrastructure management.
• Demonstrated technical leadership, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
• Experience working with hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud environments.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
• Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform or Ansible.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
