Position Summary
As an AVEVA System Administrator, you will assist with configuration, maintenance, and overall administration of AVEVA applications within Babcock & Wilcox. You will have a chance to collaborate with AVEVA Administrators as well ass cross-functional teams in the organization to meet project requirements/deliverables.
This is an excellent position working in a cloud-based environment for an enthusiastic, motivated, and strong problem-solving skills candidate.
Duties
AVEVA E3D Administration
• Lead the set-up, configuration and maintenance of AVEVA E3D.
• Configure project templates, user roles, permissions, and project structures to support multi-discipline
engineering teams.
• Ensure the system stability, performance, and smooth project execution with other AVEVA applications.
• Identify opportunities and improvements within AVEVA applications.
• Coordinate with team members regarding complex integrations and support.
Catalogs & Specifications Administration
• Create, maintain, and update CATs & Specs databases for piping, structural, instrument, electrical, supports,
and other disciplines.
• Ensure catalogs and specifications align with engineering standards and project requirements.
• Customize and optimize catalogs, specs, dictionaries, UDAs, property tables, and related data.
Preferred Skills
• Knowledge of PML, database structures is a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication and cross-functional coordination.
• Electrical catalogue experience is a plus.
• Computer savvy
• Understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction principles.
• Knowledge of CAD tools
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Education
Bachelors degree or 5+ years experience. This is an intermediate level position.
Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Salary Range $100,000.00 - $125,000.00.
