  • Keep a clean and organized workspace
  • Support other workshops during peak operational times

Full Job Description
SCOPE OF THE JOB

As a new and cutting-edge electric automobile brand in North America, we are looking for high caliber Automotive Service Technicians. In this role, your expertise will be relied upon to diagnose and perform a wide range of automotive services and mechanical repairs. Salary range for this position is $100,000 - $110,000.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
  • Ability to effectively diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and software related symptoms
  • Proficiency in navigating diagnostic procedures, flowcharts, and wiring diagrams
  • Promptly and efficiently perform all necessary work as stated on Repair Orders
  • Regularly communicate with aftersales team members to align on timelines and expectations
  • Perform quality inspections including road testing for confirmation of repair
  • Order parts to carry out repairs and return warranty / core components with designated tagging as required
  • Escalate and clearly communicate all difficult repairs to the Lead Technician to ensure prompt solutions
  • Maintain consistent understanding and compliance with VinFast policies and procedures
  • Adhere to all safety and security regulations in the workplace
  • Maintain learning and upgrading of knowledge base via VinFast training and courses
  • Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment
  • Ability to work evenings or weekends when required
  • Ability to support other VinFast workshops during peak times, either out of city or out or province
  • Other related duties as required


WHAT YOU BRING

A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, previous experience with an electric automobile brand preferred

Valid 310S License (or equivalent)

Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract/record

Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle components, past Electric Vehicle experience an asset

Experience with electrical diagnostics and understanding of wiring diagrams

Flexibility to work retail business hours, including Saturdays
