Responsibilities

  • Perform repair orders efficiently according to dealership standards

  • Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
  • Utilize video MPI technology as required

Full Job Description
We are currently seeking one or two experienced, professional service technicians who are motivated to consistently produce 50-90 hours per week.

Our shop currently employs 17 main shop technicians, and even during the slower season, we are unable to complete all scheduled work. Our state-of-the-art, air-conditioned facility was renovated in 2018 and features 32 service bays.

We are looking for mid- to high-level experienced professionals who are willing to follow procedures and maintain a positive attitude. A strong work ethic and good attitude are essential to being part of our team.

ASE-certified technicians or Subaru Level Two technicians may be hired at a premium wage.

Service Technician Responsibilities
  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
  • Use of video MPI technology in accordance with Subaru requirements

Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of the service drive
  • Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Basic computer competencies
  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
