Motor Werks is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our automotive service operation in Barrington, IL. This high-impact role calls for a proven leader who can develop teams, improve performance, elevate customer satisfaction, and drive results through change.

What You'll Do
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the Service Department team to deliver strong performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, staffing, workflow, customer communication, and efficiency.
  • Set clear expectations and build a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor KPIs, financial performance, productivity, profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction; act quickly on opportunities for improvement.
  • Improve customer retention, loyalty, repair order profitability, and overall department performance.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Recruit, develop, evaluate, and retain high-quality service employees.
  • Partner with Parts, Sales, the General Manager, and dealership leadership to deliver a seamless customer experience and achieve store objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, manufacturer standards, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
