More Than Writing Repair Orders

A great Service Advisor doesn't simply write repair orders.

You become the connection between the customer and the technician.

You listen to the customer, understand the concern, communicate with the technician, explain recommendations clearly, help customers make informed decisions and build relationships that bring customers back year after year.

At Arlington Heights Ford, you'll be doing that work at a dealership with decades of customer relationships and a nationally recognized reputation for customer satisfaction.

Career Growth

We're looking for someone who wants more than another Service Advisor job.

This is an opportunity to:
  • Build and retain a loyal customer base
  • Increase your earning potential
  • Strengthen your automotive and fixed-operations knowledge
  • Develop leadership skills
  • Grow within a successful automotive organization

For high-performing employees, experience as a Service Advisor can provide a foundation for future leadership and management opportunities based on performance, qualifications and available positions.

Requirements

Previous automotive Service Advisor or Service Writer experience is preferred.

We are also interested in speaking with candidates who have strong relevant automotive experience combined with excellent customer-service, communication and sales skills.

Relevant backgrounds may include:
  • Automotive Service Advisor
  • Automotive Service Writer
  • Service Consultant
  • Assistant Service Manager
  • Fixed Operations customer service
  • Dealership Service Department experience
  • Automotive repair estimating
  • Automotive customer service
  • Other related automotive service experience
  • CDK experience preferred

We value experience, but we also value attitude, work ethic, professionalism, communication skills and the ability to take exceptional care of customers.

If you have strong automotive knowledge and customer-facing experience but haven't held the exact title of Service Advisor, we encourage you to apply.
