Job DescriptionWarCollar Industries is seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer to join an elite Intelligence Community mission supporting a Sponsor's critical software development and testing initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to develop and test mission-critical applications that directly support national security while working alongside highly skilled engineers in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The position includes software development, automated testing, classification tool development, and program support utilizing Microsoft technologies, Java/Python, JavaScript, and modern web technologies.
Required Skills- Develop and maintain software applications, classification tools, and web services using Java, Python, JavaScript, C/C++, .NET, and Visual Basic.
- Design, develop, and execute automated testing solutions using Selenium and Playwright.
- Perform regression, integration, compatibility, usability, and negative testing across multiple operating environments.
- Develop web-based user interfaces utilizing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Support and maintain existing applications, including legacy Lotus Notes solutions where required.
- Collaborate with program managers, developers, and Sponsor personnel to ensure successful project execution.
- Participate in technical meetings, status reporting, risk management, and project planning activities.
- Support development efforts across Windows, Unix/Linux, cloud, and multi-security domain environments
Desired Skills- Experience developing software with one or more of the following:
Java

.NET
Visual Basic
- Experience with web technologies including HTML and CSS.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and modern software development lifecycles.
- Experience working in classified Intelligence Community environments is highly desired.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with government customers.
