Job Description:
Autism and Clinical Team Director
The Autism and Clinical Team Director provides clinical and operational leadership for Open Sky's autism and intellectual/developmental disability (ID/DD) clinical services. The Director oversees clinical teams and program leadership, ensuring high-quality, person-centered, evidence-based services are delivered in accordance with contractual, licensing, accreditation, and organizational standards. This role provides clinical supervision and consultation, supports staff development and training, ensures fidelity to established treatment models, and maintains strong partnerships with individuals served, families, funders, providers, and community stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires a master's degree and an LMHC or an LICSW.
Candidates with an independent clinical license in a related field will be considered.
Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of direct clinical experience working with individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities, ASD, and/or co-occurring behavioral health needs.

RESPONSIBLITIES:
Provides direct supervision and oversight of the clinical team, the ASD Community Treatment Team program director, and the Autism Individual Living Supports coordinator.
Hires, supervises, and evaluates assigned team members, ensuring they are trained and deliver services in accordance with contract requirements and organizational values.
Oversee mobile individual therapy and group treatment to individuals with ID/DD and/or Autism in line with clinical best practice and evidence-based models. These services will be provided primarily withing the community where participants live or work, and/or in an office space. These services will be provided remotely when indicated and with leadership approval.
Oversee the referral process received for Open Sky DD/ID Clinical Contracts and respond to funder disposition including maintaining rosters and wait lists for the DD Clinical Services contracts. Clinical contracts include a range of treatment models including, the Emotion Regulation Skills System (Julie Brown DBT Informed skills system), Positive Behavioral Supports, PECCN, CBT, Friendship and Dating and PEERS.
Responsible for the implementation of and fidelity to the Emotion Regulation Skills System including participation in training around this model, providing clinical supervision and consultation associated with the delivery of services under this model.
Ensure that IDD culture of Positive Behavioral Supports (Universal Supports) and Whole Person Health is implemented in alignment with funder and Open Sky vision and values.
Ensure billing and program expenditure documentation is accurately submitted within required timelines including providing supervision and support to direct reports and program staff to ensure standards are being met.
Oversee the electronic confidential file system for each program participant that includes all necessary and required clinical documentation in accordance with clinical practice and quality standards and for accreditation.
Ensure the independent licensure oversight for all assigned clinical teams including signing off on clinical and billing documentation and providing clinical supervision and consultation.
Develop, coordinate, and deliver training in conjunction with team members, as needed to address the clinical learning needs of service providers.
Develop positive, therapeutic relationships while maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality with people served and families, staff provider agencies and funders.
Participate as a member of committees as assigned. Committees could include Open Sky Peer Review Committee, DD Clinical Team, Safety Risk Teams, PBS Leadership Team.
Provide and coordinate clinical consultation for assigned teams.
Lead, facilitate, and/or participate in group supervision and evidenced based practice consultation team(s) as assigned.
Ensure that services are delivered in accordance with our contract, accreditation, and licensure requirements.
Establish and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with the wider autism community including funders, psychiatrists, therapists, staff teams and other stakeholders.
Attend, participate in, facilitate meetings, training, and supervision as assigned.
Facilitate/participate in supervision, team, and other assigned meetings.
Provide coaching support across the IDD services division as needed
Pay Range:
$109,900/year ($52.83/hour)
