Responsibilities
Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring compliance with professional standards and firm quality requirements
Review financial statements, workpapers, and complex accounting issues while managing engagement risk, timelines, and budgets
Serve as the primary client point of contact, building relationships, communicating findings, and delivering value-added insights
Supervise, mentor, and develop staff, providing ongoing feedback and supporting performance management efforts
Work with tax specialist to oversee the preparation and/or review of business tax returns, assist with tax planning, and collaborate with tax specialists as needed
Identify opportunities to expand client services and support overall firm growth initiatives
Monitor engagement economics (billing, realization, time management) and contribute to operational improvements
Stay current on audit regulations, maintain CPA licensure, and uphold ethical and independence standards
