THE POSITION

Goldberg Segalla has an opportunity for an Associate to join our growing Employment and Labor practice in our Buffalo office. The Employment and Labor group works together collaboratively to counsel employers proactively, guide them through compliance issues, and defend them in litigation.

THE QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified candidates will have 2 - 5 years of experience practicing before administrative agencies such as the New York State Division of Human Rights, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, National Labor Relations Board, Public Employment Relations Board, as well as in New York State and Federal Court. Qualified candidates will also have experience handling a range of employment litigation, including but not limited to employment discrimination, wage and hour issues, and restrictive covenants in employment agreements. The ideal candidate writes effectively, thinks strategically, and has practiced in employment and labor law. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in New York.

THE BENEFITS

The annualized salary range for this position is $100,000 - $165,000. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience and other job related factors permitted by law. This position also offers bonuses, and a full benefits package.
