THE POSITION

Work fully remote, hybrid, or onsite. The choice is yours.

Goldberg Segalla offers experienced California defense litigators the flexibility to work in the environment that suits them best, from anywhere within a reasonable commuting distance of our Los Angeles, Orange County, or San Francisco offices. This position represents a strategic expansion of our team driven by strong client demand, not a backfill. A portable book of business is not required.
We are particularly interested in experienced partners with a background in trucking and transportation defense who can independently manage complex litigation, serve as a trusted advisor to clients and insurers, and play a key role in mentoring and developing our growing team.

THE QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome attorneys with 10+ years of defense litigation experience who are ready to lead complex matters, drive litigation strategies, and deliver exceptional client service.
Qualified candidates must be licensed in California and have substantial experience taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, and preparing for and participating in trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
The ideal candidate is a strong writer, strategic thinker, and trusted counselor who can independently manage a sophisticated litigation caseload while building strong relationships with clients, insurers, and colleagues. Experience representing companies and insurers in a defense-side practice is strongly preferred.
Experience in trucking and transportation defense is highly desired. Experience in general liability, retail liability, and/or product liability is also a plus.

THE BENEFITS

The annualized salary range for this position is $110,000-$250,000. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also offers bonuses, and a full benefits package. Our benefits package includes, but is not limited to, health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, a 401(k) plan, flexible spending, and more.
