We're looking for someone who brings both legal acumen and strategic insight - an attorney who thrives on challenge, demonstrates sound judgment, and delivers results for institutional clients.
Key Responsibilities- Handle a full caseload of litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft and argue motions, pleadings, discovery, and other court filings
- Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, mediations, and trials
- Advise clients on case strategies, risks, and potential outcomes
- Maintain compliance with applicable court rules, deadlines, and procedural requirements
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients across multiple jurisdictions to align strategy and execution
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and client service
What You Bring- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in New York
- 3+ years of litigation experience, ideally in creditors' rights, consumer finance, or financial services
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational abilities
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications- Admission to additional state courts a plus
- Background in banking, compliance, or regulatory law
- Experience coordinating multi-state litigation matters

110,000 - 160,000 USD per year (Westbury, New York)
