Responsibilities
The sample maker is responsible for the execution of concepts, trials, prototypes and high-quality samples. This includes sewing of all prototypes and various garment samples for Runway Show, Press Sample and preseason sales samples.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities of the Job:
Constructs one-of-a-kind garments to the pattern and/or draping specifications of the Collection Design Team
Provides expert finishing and tailoring of specialty garments
Collaborate closely with patternmakers and designers to ensure design intent is achieved
Ensures the highest possible level of quality and standards in keeping with the Calvin Klein brand and image.
Responsible for being part of the creative process.
Develops new and innovative solutions to garment construction in tandem with design concepts.
