Pay Range: $127,512.73 - $165,766.55 per year

Job Overview:

As an Assistant Clinical Director, you will manage patient care delivery on an assigned shift and ensure that the unit department division is in compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulations.

As an Assistant Clinical Director, a typical day may include:
  • Manages patient care delivery on an assigned shift in Labor & Delivery
  • Assists the Nurse Manager with ensuring that quality nursing care is delivered to all patients and his/her nursing units in accordance with the philosophy, policies, procedures and program plans of the hospital
  • Assists with the development of patient care standards, orientation and continuing education
  • Provides input into the evaluation of staff performance in accordance with organization policies
  • Participates in nursing Quality Improvement
  • Assists with unit administration, including scheduling, payroll and maintenance of supplies and equipment
  • Maintains and role models clinical skills necessary to provide care to patients
  • Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient's age-specific needs and provide age-specific treatment and care

To be considered for this Assistant Clinical Director opportunity, you must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing, hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing, ACLS certification, and a current American Heart Association BLS certification. A bachelor's degree in nursing or currently matriculating is strongly preferred, as is prior patient care experience and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. Additional certifications may be required as per the Administrative Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification Policy. This position offers a full-time evening shift schedule.
