ScheduleWe're open to
part-time or full-time scheduling depending on the candidate's needs.
Our current schedule priority includes:
- Friday and Saturday availability strongly preferred
- Additional coverage one weekday (Wednesday or Thursday) ideal, especially if interested in surgery
- Ideally 3 days/week, with flexibility to adjust
- We're seeking a DVM who can work 3 Saturdays per month, but we're open to discussing accommodations
CasesAt VCA Cairo, we practice
personalized, high-quality medicine with the support of a strong and skilled medical team.

- Preventive care and wellness exams
- Surgery (routine and some advanced soft tissue procedures)
- Dentistry
- Radiology and in-house lab capabilities

Total RewardsAs a VCA Associate, eligible full-time employees will be rewarded with a comprehensive package, including:
Compensation
- Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $77,000 to 160,000 range listed is based on a 24-40 hour work week.
- This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.

Qualifications- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
- Licensure in good standing to practice in (IL), or the ability to obtain
- A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
