Dr. Heather Newett, CityVet Capitol Hill is a collaborative, energetic team in the heart of Denver. We're a hybrid GP and Urgent care hospital, which means no two days look exactly the same and that's part of what makes this team so much fun.
We have a diverse, close-knit support team, and we're looking for another veterinarian who brings curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to jump in alongside their teammates.

50% of our caseload is urgent care, while the remainder includes primary care, wellness, dentistry, surgery, and everything in between. We accommodate same-day procedures and drop-offs and adjust our schedule specifically for walk-ins and drop-off cases.
Our DVMs typically see
12-15 patients per day, with 30-minute appointments and dedicated surgery days. On surgery days, you can expect approximately
4-6 procedures, giving you the opportunity to build and strengthen your surgical skills without sacrificing the rest of your caseload.
We have:
- 7 exam rooms, including a designated cat room
- A large, centrally located treatment area
- Spacious surgery suite
- Private dog and cat wards
- Dedicated isolation ward
- Digital dental radiography, Ultrasound, Cautery, Therapeutic laser, Zoetis analyzers, Imagyst and in house cPL.
- Access to MOVES specialists in cardiology, surgery, and oncology
We also offer 15-minute technician appointments and have the flexibility to accommodate the unexpected, which, as every veterinarian knows, is inevitable.
