Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
Active veterinary state license or ability to obtain one
Proficiency in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry
Interest in exotic pet medicine with training available
DEA License and USDA Accreditation preferred but not required
Responsibilities
Provide veterinary care for a variety of animals including exotic pets
Perform surgeries and dental procedures as needed
Conduct routine check-ups and vaccinations
Educate pet owners on health and wellness
Collaborate with a team of veterinary professionals
