Job Title: Investment Banking Associate - Tech-Enabled Services (M&A Focus)

Location: New York, NY

Level: Experienced Associate (1st - 3rd Year)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Investment Banking Associate to join our premier Tech-Enabled Services group in New York.

This group provides full-service financial advisory, with an intense focus on middle-market and large-cap Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), buy-side/sell-side advisory, and cross-border transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in corporate finance, deep sub-sector interest (IT services, SaaS-enabled services, managed services, tech-consulting, and digital transformation), and a proven track record of executing complex M&A transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • M&A Transaction Execution: Lead day-to-day execution of sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions, including transaction structuring, financial modeling, valuation, management presentations, and virtual data room (VDR) oversight.
  • Advanced Financial Modeling: Build, audit, and oversee dynamic financial models (3-statement, LBO, DCF, M&A accretion/dilution, and Sum-of-the-Parts valuations) specific to recurring and tech-enabled revenue models.
  • Deal Material Generation: Lead the creation of institutional marketing materials, including Pitch Books, Confidential Information Memoranda (CIMs), Teasers, and Board presentations.
  • Due Diligence & Process Management: Oversee business, financial, and legal due diligence streams; interface directly with corporate executives, private equity sponsors, accounting advisers, and legal teams.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as a core point of contact for corporate executives, founders, and PE clients throughout the transaction process.
  • Analyst Management & Mentorship: Oversee, check, and mentor junior Analysts, taking accountability for work product quality, modeling accuracy, and deliverable timelines.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: 2-4 years of direct Investment Banking experience (as an Analyst or Associate) or 1-2 years post-MBA in a top-tier Investment Bank, with demonstrated exposure to M&A execution.
  • Sector Interest: Experience or strong interest in Tech-Enabled Services, Business Services, Software, or broader TMT sectors.
  • Technical Mastery: Superior understanding of valuation methodologies, M&A accounting, LBO dynamics, and complex Excel modeling.
  • Communication & Presence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to C-suite executives and managing external deal teams.
  • Licensing: Active FINRA Series 79 and Series 63 (or equivalent) required.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution with a strong academic record; MBA from a top program preferred.

Compensation & Culture
  • Bulge-Bracket Level Compensation: Top-of-market base salary and performance-based discretionary bonus.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive healthcare coverage, retirement plans, wellness benefits, and deal-flow visibility within a leading global platform.
