Project Manager - JLL
What this job involves:

JLL is seeking a Project Manager to join our Project & Development Services team in Boston, supporting the execution of diverse building and site development projects across New England. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to work alongside senior project managers and executives while managing projects ranging from tenant renovations and capital improvements to ground-up construction. You'll play a vital role in delivering successful outcomes for our clients while developing your project management expertise in a collaborative, mentorship-driven environment. This position combines hands-on coordination with direct client engagement, providing a clear pathway for career growth within JLL's dynamic project management practice.

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Support project execution by assisting senior project managers and executives with a diverse portfolio of building and site development projects, from small tenant renovations to new construction
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets and schedules, tracking expenditures, analyzing variances, and communicating status updates to ensure projects remain on time and within budget
  • Organize and facilitate project meetings, preparing comprehensive agendas, capturing detailed meeting minutes, and tracking action items to maintain clear communication among stakeholders
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all records are current, accessible, and properly archived
  • Take ownership of specific project elements with direct client contact under senior team guidance, building strong relationships and representing JLL's commitment to service excellence
  • Conduct regular site visits to projects and client facilities throughout the New England region, primarily within the greater Boston area, monitoring construction progress and quality standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, contractors, and facility managers to coordinate project activities and resolve issues efficiently
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a science-related field or other relevant discipline (engineering, architecture, construction management, facilities management)
  • 2-5 years of experience in building design, construction, or facilities management
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for project documentation, reporting, and budget tracking
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare professional documentation and engage effectively with clients and project teams
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly throughout the New England region for site visits
  • Team-oriented mindset with enthusiasm for learning from senior professionals while demonstrating initiative and independent problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Project (or willingness to develop these skills quickly after hire)
  • Experience with facility maintenance and upgrade projects
  • Background working on educational facilities projects, including K-12 or higher education
  • Familiarity with healthcare facilities or medical office building projects
  • Knowledge of senior living and continuing care communities
  • Ability to manage projects in Rhode Island, New Hampshire, or Maine
  • Understanding of construction administration processes, contract management, or permitting procedures
Location:

Hybrid - Boston, MA office with flexibility for remote work and regular site visits throughout New England

Work Shift:

Standard business hours with flexibility required for site visits and client meetings

Expected compensation for this position:

85,000.00 - 106,000.00 USD per year

Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
