ResponsibilitiesCandidate will be a member of the IDT Group (Infrastructure, Digital and Telecom), a New York based team dedicated to infrastructure and digital infrastructure financing, advisory, and debt arranging in the following sectors, across all Americas:Transport (Roads, Bridges, Airports, Rail, Seaports, Car Park, EV charging)Social Infrastructure (University Energy Systems)Water and waste management Digital Infrastructure (Broadband/Fiber/Data Center, Digital Technology)TelecomMAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES Transaction execution and Due DiligenceProvide support in the execution of lending and advisory mandates for financial sponsors, infrastructure funds and corporate clients in the infrastructure, digital and telecommunication sectorAssist the deal team in financial modelling for financing or advisory mandates, from running sensitivities to developing PF models to supportUnderwriting or advisory mandates Assist the deal team in all aspects of the financing, including due diligence process, internal profitability calculation, credit analysis and drafting of the credit application, credit approval process Due Diligence: Assist with due diligence, including the accurate screening and analysis of all publicly available, data room, and third-party information, filings and reportsAssist in the advisory or syndication process, including drafting of materials for lenders and ratings agencies and interacting with lenders and rating agenciesMarketingDevelop and maintain marketing materials promoting Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking (project finance and structured finance) and support the development and delivery of pitches to financial sponsors and corporate clients on specific transactionsAssist senior members of the team in creating marketing presentations to position the bank to identify and generate new revenue and cross-selling opportunities and secure new financing and/or advisory mandatesCompliance/Closing ProcessEnsure that all KYC, compliance procedures and checklists are adhered to and completedFor transaction closings, ensure that administrative instructions are properly communicated, documented and disseminated and funds flows are accurately completedTrainingAssist with the training and development of Analysts in becoming competent and productive deal team membersContribute to and promote a positive working environment; be an advocate of the bank and a positive role model Profile requiredRequired3+ years of relevant work experience (in project finance, investment banking or related fields)Strong due diligence and financing modeling experiencePrevious experience in project finance would be appreciatedKnowledge of corporate finance valuation and financial accounting conceptsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in teams Excellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated work ethic, positive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to multi-taskProficiency in MS OfficeSeries 7/79 and Series 63 certifications and formal credit training a plusEDUCATIONBachelors degree from a top tier University COMPENSATION:Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience.
