Associate Physician is a key member of the clinical team, delivering compassionate, patient-centered fertility care while supporting the growth and success of the clinic. Associate Physician will engage in a variety of clinical, procedural, and consultative responsibilities, contributing to the clinic's mission and high standards of care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct consultations and assessments for patients undergoing fertility treatments, including medical history reviews and treatment planning.
- Perform fertility-related procedures, including but not limited to ultrasounds, egg retrievals, embryo transfers, and hysteroscopies.
- Provide detailed patient education on treatment options, protocols, and medications while addressing patient concerns with empathy and expertise.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, embryologists, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with medical and legal requirements.
- Stay current with advancements in reproductive medicine, applying evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
- Contribute to the clinic's quality improvement initiatives and uphold compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in marketing or outreach events, as needed, to promote the clinic and its services.
- Support clinical research initiatives, if applicable.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Position Requirements- Education & Licensure:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Completion of a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) fellowship is required.
- Valid medical license in the state of practice or ability to obtain one
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish trust and build relationships with patients and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and clinical documentation.
