This is a full-time, tenure track position, and we are seeking individuals who are currently at the rank of associate or full professor. Preference is for a background in strategy and/or entrepreneurship, though individuals with expertise in any management discipline (e.g., OB, HR, SCM) are encouraged to apply. The person selected must be available to start no later than August 2027, though an earlier start date might be possible. This is not a remote-work position, though some online courses may be scheduled.
The successful candidate will join our team and assume the role of Department Chair. We also expect the individual to perform appropriate service responsibilities, to maintain a research program, and fulfill a teaching schedule that is reduced for administrative service.

Candidates must have a PhD from an AACSB-accredited business school or other closely related program in a relevant discipline, and must have attained the rank of associate or full professor. Prior administrative experience and demonstrated ability to lead academic teams is strongly preferred.
Candidates will be evaluated on key skills sought, including: administrative, leadership, and supervisory skills, a strong record of scholarship in management and/or related fields as demonstrated by publications in top-tier journals, an understanding of contemporary teaching practice in both in-seat and online modalities, and an understanding of curriculum development. The College and the Department emphasize experiential learning for our students. Candidates must also be able to meet the standards for tenure at the Trulaske College of Business.

Screening will begin two weeks after posting of the position. Zoom interviews will be conducted, followed by a campus visit for finalists.
