About the RoleWe are seeking an Associate Manager to join our Marketplace Strategy & Operations team, with a focus on Restaurant Growth. This team is dedicated to growing our restaurant marketplace by launching new selection, enhancing in-app merchandising, helping negotiate new merchant partnerships, and commercializing products that help our restaurant partners grow their businesses on DoorDash. In this role, you will define and execute DoorDash's restaurant strategy, creating sustainable value for restaurants, consumers, and Dashers while unlocking incremental marketplace revenue.
The ideal candidate will possess a growth mindset, strong analytical skills, and a deep sense of ownership. If you're excited about launching 0 to 1 projects, solving customer challenges, working in fast-paced environments, and managing a marketplace business line with broad impact, this role is for you.
We operate in a hybrid model, balancing in-person collaboration with remote work.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will...- Have Ownership. You'll own visible goals that drive both top-line and bottom-line performance of our core marketplace business.
- Collaborate. You'll work in a highly cross-functional environment with teams like Product, Analytics, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and more.
- Strategize. You'll bring new products and strategies to market, integrating new value propositions into our restaurant ecosystem.
- Operate. You'll become an expert on running a sustainable marketplace business - creating value for merchants, Dashers, and consumers alike.
We're excited about you because...- You have 4-6+ years of experience in a problem-solving role (consulting, tech, banking).
- You have an extreme sense of ownership - you never shy away from tackling ambiguous problems and can motivate teammates to go above and beyond.
- You solve problems from first principles and resist "this is how it's always been done" thinking.
- You thrive with a diverse set of responsibilities and love working across teams and disciplines.
- You're an analytical powerhouse - you let data win arguments and are comfortable pulling your own data in SQL and modeling in Excel.
- You're a collaborator with experience managing stakeholders across diverse audiences, from front-line doers to senior executives.
