ResponsibilitiesThe Associate, HR Systems will play a key role in the management of Related's Human Capital Management systems. This position will be responsible for understanding and analyzing data within our core HR Information System (HRIS) and its downstream impacts across other HR verticals, including Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Performance, Compensation, and Engagement (e.g., UKG, iCIMS, Cornerstone, and others). The ideal candidate will have experience working within HRIS software, automated reporting, and payroll-adjacent system support. This position will report into the Head of HR Systems, Operations & Analytics and will be based in our New York office. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Configure and maintain our core HR Information System (HRIS), including organizational structure, position and allocation logic, and workers' compensation code assignment across multiple states and business lines
- Develop and generate regular and ad hoc reports for HR and business leaders using our HR reporting and analytics tools
- Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate reporting, documentation, and configuration work, and serve as the subject-matter check that verifies outputs before they reach stakeholders
- Own compensation- and performance-related HRIS configuration where it intersects with core HR data, including job and salary change processing
- Coordinate with the analysts who own adjacent HR platforms (talent acquisition, benefits, engagement) on integration points with our core HRIS
- Document, streamline, and automate HR policies, processes, and procedures related to HR systems
- Maintain governance over HR data and system integrity through regular audits and data quality exception reporting
- Configure workers' compensation rate structures and leave/PTO rules across states, and identify opportunities to replace manual, state-by-state calculation with configured or automated solutions
- Respond to internal HRIS-related inquiries and support requests in a timely manner
- Collaborate with HR, IT, Payroll, and business stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
- Support HR technology projects led by HR Systems, Operations & Analytics leadership, including requirements gathering, configuration testing, and documentation
- Escalate enhancement requests and major resource needs to HR and IT leadership for prioritization
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in HR, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3-5 years of experience with analytics and reporting within an enterprise HRIS (e.g., UKG); SQL or BI reporting tool experience (e.g., Cognos) is a plus
- Solid working knowledge of core HR transaction processes, including organizational management, new hire and separation processing, leave management, and time and attendance; workers' compensation and multi-state compliance experience is a plus
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including charts, formulas, and pivot tables; VBA is a plus
- Experience using AI-assisted tools (for example, Copilot or ChatGPT) to speed up reporting, documentation, or configuration work, with the ability to explain how you checked that output against known data before relying on it
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A professional approach to handling sensitive and confidential matters
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
CompensationThe anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
Anticipated base salary range: $115,000 - $130,000
Actual base salary within the anticipated range will be determined by several components including, but not limited to, the individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and market factors.
