Job Title: Investment Banking Associate - Healthcare Services

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Healthcare Services Investment Banking team. In this role, you will be an integral part of a specialized coverage group, supporting senior bankers in delivering strategic advisory and capital-raising solutions to clients across the healthcare sector. You will gain exposure to a wide range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), divestitures, and growth equity mandates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transaction Execution: Support the end-to-end execution of M&A and strategic advisory assignments, including coordinating due diligence processes and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Financial Analysis & Modeling: Build and maintain complex financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF) analyses, LBO models, accretion/dilution analyses, and comparable company/transaction benchmarking.
  • Presentation & Pitch Materials: Prepare high-impact pitch books, management presentations, confidential information memorandums (CIMs), and board materials to support client dialogue and business development.
  • Market Research: Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes within various healthcare sub-verticals (e.g., provider services, health-tech, payor services, and outsourced clinical services) to provide insightful analysis to the team and clients.
  • Client Interaction: Assist in managing day-to-day client relationships and coordinate effectively with senior team members to ensure seamless project delivery.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field with a strong academic record.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a transaction advisory/valuation role. Prior exposure to the healthcare sector is highly valued.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Demonstrated expertise in financial statement analysis and corporate valuation methodologies.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into concise, actionable insights.
