Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC ("CSG Law") is seeking a mid to senior-level attorney to join our Surety & Fidelity team in our New Jersey office. The ideal candidate for this role is a commercial litigator with 6+ years of experience, with significant experience litigating in the federal and state courts of both New York and New Jersey. Experience with surety, construction litigation, and/or insurance coverage matters is a plus.
Essential functions:- Manage all phases of litigations in state and federal courts from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motion practice
- Represent clients and practice group with skill, ethics, and confidence before courts, mediators, and arbitrators
- Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with practice group colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve favorable and cost-effective resolutions for clients in both litigation and transactional matters
- Ability to use creativity and flexibility to adapt to and succeed in difficult and changing circumstances
- Commitment to serving the goals, needs, and priorities of clients and practice group teammates
- Engage in marketing and networking opportunities to cultivate the practice group's client base
The expected salary range for this position is $185,000 - $225,000.
The actual base salary offered may depend upon a variety of factors, including (without limitation) the role for which the applicant is hired, the applicant's qualifications, relevant experience and other certifications or professional licenses held.
