Position Description

The Enterprise Applications team sits within the technology department and is responsible for selecting, implementing, supporting, and enhancing core business systems that enable middle and back-office operations. The team serves as an intermediary between the business and technology development teams and is accountable for requirement documentation, process engineering, system implementation/configuration, and overall application management. They ensure that application platforms meet the strategic business objectives of the management company accounting, fund accounting, human resources, payroll, FP&A, tax, treasury, and broader operations teams. By driving automation, data integrity, and process efficiency, they help the firm operate effectively, meet regulatory requirements, and scale for growth.

Specific responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
  • Support Requirements Gathering - Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, document current-state and future-state processes, and clarify functional needs across Workday and related enterprise applications.
  • Translate Business Needs into Technical Specifications - Assist in converting business requirements into clear technical specifications, system configuration needs, reporting requirements, and integration design documentation.
  • Support Management Company AP & AR Requirements - Help support requirements, enhancements, and process improvements across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, Expenses, Banking, Revenue Management, General Ledger, and related finance operations.
  • Assist with Workday Integration Development - Support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of Workday integrations, including EIBs, RaaS reports, APIs, SFTP integrations, and related documentation.
  • Monitor and Troubleshoot Integration Issues - Monitor production integrations, troubleshoot issues, coordinate with technology and business teams, and help identify root causes and sustainable fixes.
  • Support Workday Configuration, Enhancements, and Releases - Assist with Workday configuration, enhancements, testing, releases, and production deployments across Finance, HCM, Payroll, and related business functions.
  • Maintain Workday Reports and Data Quality - Build and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, calculated fields, and operational reporting solutions while supporting data quality analysis and issue resolution.
  • Document Processes, Controls, and User Support - Support regulatory, audit, management reporting, and internal control requirements by maintaining documentation and providing day-to-day functional and technical support to users.

Candidate Profile
  • Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
    • 2-4 years of Workday experience.
    • Experience supporting Workday Financials, HCM, or Integrations.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred Skills & Knowledge:
    • Experience with Workday Financial Management modules.
    • Experience with Workday Reporting and Calculated Fields.
    • Experience with EIB, Workday Studio, APIs, and RaaS.
    • Understanding of accounting and finance operations.
    • Familiarity with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, Expense Management, or General Ledger processes.
    • Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, Snowflake, or SQL.
    • Financial services industry experience.
  • Certifications & Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or business administration; advanced degree a plus but not required.

The base salary range for this position is $115,000-150,000 but may vary based on various factors including job function, experience and geographic location. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
