Job Description:

Business Development

  • Serve as a key project leader in the RFP process, managing timelines, coordinating contributors, driving deliverables, and ensuring high-quality, competitive submissions.
  • Lead preparation of proposals, pitch materials, prospect-meeting documents, and related business-development content in partnership with Client Directors and subject-matter experts.
  • Partner with Client Directors and investment professionals to shape meeting objectives, develop tailored prospect strategies, and ensure materials are aligned with prospect needs and firm positioning.
  • Oversee quality control for business-development materials, including consistency, accuracy, clarity, and alignment with firm messaging and standards.
  • Track prospect activity, pipeline developments, and next steps in relevant internal systems, while helping identify priorities and opportunities for follow-up.
  • Drive post-meeting follow-up processes, including action-item coordination, internal debriefs, and preparation of additional materials.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of business-development processes, content, and coordination practices across the Private Client Practice.

Opportunity Management
  • Manage workflow, timelines, and execution for proposals and RFP responses across multiple concurrent opportunities, often with significant complexity and senior stakeholder involvement.
  • Draft, refine, and assemble core proposal and presentation materials with a high degree of independence and strong editorial judgment.
  • Coordinate review and approval processes for external-facing materials, ensuring efficient collaboration and timely completion.
  • Maintain and enhance reusable files, templates, and supporting content to improve efficiency and consistency across opportunities.
  • Tailor materials thoughtfully to prospect needs, meeting objectives, and audience context, helping to differentiate the firm's offering and positioning.
  • Identify gaps in content or process and proactively recommend solutions to improve overall effectiveness.

Client Relationship Management Support
  • Support ongoing relationship-management activities for selected private-client relationships, serving as a trusted partner to Client Directors and internal teams.
  • Help coordinate meeting agendas, logistics, follow-up items, and internal communications related to client activity.
  • Participate in client meetings, capture key takeaways, and help drive follow-through on agreed action items.
  • Prepare client-facing and internal materials in support of relationship objectives and ongoing service needs.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely, thoughtful responses to client requests and deliverables.
  • Contribute to a high-quality client experience through strong execution, responsiveness, and attention to detail.

Internal Collaboration, Leadership & Execution
  • Work closely across Client Directors, business development, investment teams, and other colleagues to support coordinated execution and strong outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in CRM and other internal systems related to prospects, proposals, and client activity.
  • Manage competing priorities across multiple workstreams with a high level of organization, accountability, and judgment.
  • Help guide less experienced team members on process execution, timelines, and quality standards where appropriate.
  • Support special projects, strategic initiatives, and broader practice-building efforts as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve coordination, communication, and effectiveness across teams and processes.
