Full Job Description
Job Description:

Do you love building Marketing Mix Models more than presenting them?

If you're the type of person who gets excited about model architecture, parameter tuning, validation frameworks, and uncovering the story behind the data, keep reading.

We're looking for an Associate Director, Attribution to be the technical powerhouse behind our Attribution team. This is not a traditional consulting role focused on endless client meetings. Instead, you'll be the expert responsible for building, refining, and advancing sophisticated measurement solutions that help some of the world's most recognized brands make smarter marketing decisions.

You'll work alongside talented marketing scientists, engineers, and media experts to shape the future of measurement through Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), attribution, forecasting, causal measurement, and advanced analytics.

What You'll Do
  • Lead end-to-end development of advanced Marketing Mix Models from data strategy through model delivery and ongoing optimization.
  • Build, validate, and improve MMM frameworks using both Bayesian and Frequentist methodologies.
  • Manage multiple modeling engagements simultaneously across a diverse portfolio of clients and industries.
  • Partner with media, data engineering, and analytics teams to transform business objectives into actionable measurement strategies.
  • Deliver insights that drive optimization of media and marketing investments across online and offline channels.
  • Serve as the technical lead for project teams, providing guidance, quality control, and mentorship to junior modelers.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our measurement methodologies and help push beyond traditional MMM approaches.

What Makes You a Great Fit

Required Experience
  • Significant hands-on experience building MMM models from scratch and leading full model development lifecycles.
  • Deep expertise in both Bayesian and Frequentist marketing mix modeling techniques.
  • Proven success managing multiple MMM engagements simultaneously, ideally across 10+ client models.
  • Strong foundation in statistical modeling, attribution, forecasting, and marketing measurement frameworks.
  • Experience mentoring analysts, managers, or junior modelers in a project-based environment.
  • Proficiency with Databricks and modern analytics environments.
  • Ability to connect business questions to rigorous measurement solutions.

Preferred Experience
  • Retail
  • Restaurants / QSR
  • Financial Services
  • Pharmaceutical analytics experience is a plus.

What Success Looks Like

You're not just running models. You're shaping measurement strategy.

You'll thrive here if you:
  • Are genuinely passionate about modeling and measurement science.
  • Enjoy solving complex analytical challenges.
  • Have a natural curiosity for emerging methodologies and AI-enabled analytics.
  • Want to influence project direction through expertise rather than formal people management authority.
  • Love mentoring others while continuing to deepen your own technical mastery.

At dentsu, you'll work on enterprise-scale measurement programs spanning MMM, causal impact analysis, and machine learning attribution solutions for leading global brands. You'll join a collaborative environment where technical excellence is valued, innovation is encouraged, and your work directly influences client investment decisions.

This is an opportunity for a true MMM specialist to remain deeply technical, shape the future of marketing measurement, and work alongside some of the industry's brightest minds.

Ready to build what's next in measurement and attribution? We'd love to meet you.
