Job Summary
Searching for a highly motivated individual to elevate and maintain our marketing analytics offering within the Advanced Analytics team at Horizon Media to serve our fast-growing client base.

Prior experience working at an analytics consulting firm or marketing agency leading marketing analytic engagements and development is required. The Associate Director will manage a team and assist in the development of new and existing statistical models aimed to drive the maximum business results for our clients. The role will require hands-on model development skills as well as a creative, story-telling mindset.

Analytic engagements can include (but are not limited to) marketing mix modeling (MMM), Multi-Touch Attribution modeling (MTA), closed-loop and attribution modeling, in-market testing, campaign measurement, customer journey analytics, CRM, digital analytics (website, mobile, app and social media), forecasting, financial analysis, user-level analysis. Knowledge of statistical analysis and tools such as Python, R, KNIME, or SQL, and familiarity with marketing platforms data and terminology is required.

In addition to the technical aspects required, it will involve cultivating and maintaining effective working relationships with a variety of parties including the clients, internal stakeholders (e.g. Brand and Activation), 3rd-party vendors, external clients, and operational areas within Horizon. This is a high growth and visibility role in a highly dynamic and fast paced industry.

What You99ll Do/ Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor a growing and diverse team

  • Create and elevate current analytics methodology, build a replicable statistical framework to rollout across multiple clients

  • Develop, train, productionalize new models to be used for media optimization and driving client business

  • Work closely with clients and account teams to assess business and marketing challenges, discuss the possible solutions, and execute a plan

  • Oversee team modeling outputs and inputs, working with Business Intelligence and Data Engineering team to assure data processes are automated and efficient

  • Build marketing mix models, diminishing returns analysis and campaign test design to assess and inform client return on media investment

  • Spearhead new analytical initiatives to drive actionable insights for our clients

  • Role will report directly to the VP, Advanced Analytics

Who You Are/ Requirements

  • Bachelor99s degree in a mathematical or quantitative discipline (Statistics, Business Analytics, etc.), marketing or media also acceptable (Master99s preferred)

  • 5+ years of experience in data & analytical functions in an agency/ consulting environment with at least two years of team management experience

  • Proficiency with statistical analysis tools such as Python and R, as well as database (SQL) and regression modeling

  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau preferred) and data storytelling using dashboards or ppt presentations required

  • Ability to develop proprietary statistical models, design A/B tests, execute Marketing Mix Models and multi-touch attribution algorithms

  • Ability to both get the hands dirty with data and communicate with clients on their business questions

  • Familiarity of changing landscape of ad tech within Ad Servers (DCM), DSPs (TTD, DV360), SEM

  • Managing 2-3 junior analytics99 members

  • Experience in fast-paced environment, possessing the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to be client facing and translate technical subject matter into relatable business terminology and respond to unexpected questions on the spot.

  • Creative thinker that is willing to challenge the norm to improve analytic processes

Salary Range

$155,000.00 - $170,000.00

A successful applicant99s actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual99s skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.
