Full Job Description
Capital Markets and Advisory is a division of Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) comprising of Structured Equity Finance (SEF), Debt Capital Markets (DCM), Leveraged & Acquisition Finance (LAF), Corporate Risk Solutions (CRS), Structured Finance, Corporate Real Estate (CRE), and Corporate Finance Coverage teams. This is a role reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, Capital Markets and Advisory for the Americas. This role will work with all product and sector heads to facilitate the provision of timely and insightful business performance data that supports strategy execution, based on globally consistent metrics and data sources, and informed by local market dynamics and local geopolitical developments.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with the regional and global COO, and product teams, to align priorities to CMA's core strategy and communicate the strategy regionally
  • Lead client experience and other transformation initiatives Regionally across Capital Markets and Advisory with a focus on technology investment, process improvement and data management
  • Be responsible for identifying and implementing further areas of impactful change
  • Support the execution of the strategy across Capital Markets and Advisory
  • Monitor and report relevant developments relating to market dynamics, peers, benchmarks to help guide and further refine strategic execution, providing ongoing feedback to the leadership team
  • Ensure strategic alignment of investment in digital and transformation, effectively driving ROI outcomes promised by corresponding business cases
  • Drive collaboration initiatives with other CIB Businesses
  • Work with the Capital Markets and Advisory staffers in the management of the junior pool of resources
  • Work with HR and Recruiting in the approval of headcount and hiring


Requeriments:
  • Knowledge of Investment Banking products preferred
  • Very strong analytical and presentation skills, with excellent grasp of PowerPoint / excel / word and ability to distil large quantities of information into key themes / issues. Follow up on recurring themes from the MI and identify solutions, which are followed through to conclusion
  • Ability to process high volumes of complex information and ability to summarize key themes and issues
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with capacity to work with senior teams and ability to interact at all levels of the organization
  • Be able to work effectively under pressure and with multiple stakeholders and willingness to go the 'extra-mile'
  • Excellent English language capabilities both written and oral
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, filter information and prioritize multiple demands
  • The role holder would benefit from experience in one or more of the following business lines; GB, CMB. Also, it would be advantageous to have a working knowledge of products and client propositions across these businesses

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
