Full Job Description
Job Title: Associate Attorney in the Built to Advocate ™ training program

Employment Status: Full Time

Location: Remote - Must reside in California

Program start date: September 1, 2026

Attorneys manage the legal defense of workers' compensation cases from inception to final resolution, including all aspects of discovery and litigation. The attorneys work closely with insurance companies, employers, and third-party administrators. We are now seeking an Attorney with 0 - 2 years of workers' compensation defense experience.

Requirements

Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's and Juris Doctor degrees;
  • Member of the State Bar of California
  • Superior research, analytical, and negotiating ability;
  • Excellent written and oral communication;
  • Commitment to proactive case management;
  • Experience in Merus and/or Litify is preferred but not required;
  • Experience in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Teams is preferred but not required.
