Full Job Description
Segal McCambridge, a nationally recognized litigation firm, is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 2+ years of asbestos defense or toxic tort litigation experience to join our New York City office. This is an outstanding opportunity for a talented litigator to work on complex matters, gain hands-on courtroom experience, and grow within a dynamic, trial-focused firm recognized for excellence nationwide.

What You'll Do

As part of our New York Asbestos Defense team, you will manage a diverse caseload involving:
  • Asbestos and toxic tort defense
  • Product liability and premises exposure claims

Responsibilities include:
  • Drafting pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motions
  • Conducting and defending depositions of fact and expert witnesses
  • Managing discovery and developing case strategy
  • Attending court conferences, hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations
  • Communicating directly with clients, insurers, and opposing counsel
  • Assisting with trial preparation and participating in trial as needed
