Key Responsibilities:- Manage litigation matters from pre-trial through trial under the guidance of senior attorneys.
- Draft pleadings, motions, written discovery, legal memoranda, and settlement agreements.
- Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive legal arguments.
- Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, client meetings, and trials as required.
- Develop case strategies and collaborate with attorneys, clients, and expert witnesses.
- Review and analyze medical records, evidence, and case-related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Nevada State and Federal court rules, deadlines, and procedural requirements.
- Maintain strong client communication while providing high-quality legal representation.
Required Qualifications:- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active Nevada State Bar license in good standing.
- 2-5 years of civil litigation experience.
- Strong understanding of Nevada State and Federal court procedures.
- Experience drafting pleadings, motions, written discovery, and other litigation documents.
- Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in medical malpractice defense or healthcare law.
- Trial preparation and courtroom experience.
- Strong organizational and case management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a client-focused approach.
