OverviewAttorney - General Liability & Family LawLocation - Orlando, FL or Jacksonville, FLAbout the Opportunity:Kelley Kronenberg is expanding its Florida General Liability and Family Law practice and is seeking an Associate Attorney based out of our Orlando office (Jacksonville also considered). This role offers the kind of cross-practice exposure that's hard to find elsewhere - a chance to build a well-rounded caseload spanning General Liability defense and Family Law, rather than being boxed into a single practice area early in your career.
You'll own your files from the start and work side-by-side with an experienced Partner who will invest directly in your development - sharpening your litigation strategy, courtroom presence, and client management skills along the way. Your primary focus will be General Liability defense work, with the opportunity to take on Family Law matters as your practice grows, making this an ideal fit for an attorney who wants to diversify their skill set rather than specialize narrowly.
Your Responsibilities:- Own a caseload of General Liability defense matters, handling discovery, depositions, and motion practice from intake through resolution.
- Build experience in Family Law matters as opportunities arise, with direct mentorship from a Partner.
- Partner with firm leadership to shape litigation strategy and deliver responsive, high-quality service to clients.
- Take on increasing independence in drafting pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents as your experience develops.
Required Education and Experience:- At least 3 years of General Liability practice experience.
- Juris Doctorate Degree.
- Admitted to practice in Florida.
- An interest in growing into Family Law work is strongly preferred; prior experience is a plus but not required.
