Principal Purpose of Position: Serves as the #2 manufacturing leader and strategic partner to VP Manufacturing. Responsible for driving integrated performance across multiple business units and ensuring alignment across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and financial outcomes within a large-scale industrial environment.
Organizational Scope- Second-in-command for manufacturing operations
- Direct oversight of three General Managers
- Leadership across 1,000+ employee manufacturing organization
- Cross-functional integration with finance, HR, engineering, and operations
Key Responsibilities- Execute manufacturing strategy in partnership with VP Manufacturing
- Lead performance across GM-led business units
- Drive safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity
- Support financial planning, forecasting, and cost management
- Lead Lean transformation and continuous improvement
- Oversee capital projects and operational initiatives
- Develop leadership bench strength and succession plans
- Partner with executive leadership and stakeholders
Education and/or Training: - Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
Relevant Work Experience:- 12+ years manufacturing leadership experience
- Experience in large-scale industrial environments
- Proven leadership of multi-unit or complex operations
- Experience managing senior leaders
